Ok I need to have a say here, because I am so impressed with my V6 Magna that I just have to tell someone! haha

I have the TF with a 4G64, and the most I have gotten is 620kms to a tank, but now that is down to about 500-550kms to a tank (engine is wearing down with all the kms). Now my boss at work said that the TJ Magna which has the 6G74 3.5 V6 would be worse and would cost me too much to run, well clearly he doesn't know much about them because I have finally done a fuel economy test in my TJ Magna.

I filled it up with BP Ultimate as normal, and drove it to work each day for a week. On average, the display was reading that I was using 10L/100kms, now believe it or not, I actually got 700kms out of one tank of fuel! And that was with a mixture of different driving styles. Now just to double check that that was correct, I done the same test over the last week, and sure enough, I got another 700kms out of tank of fuel.

That's running BP Ultimate 98 Octane, Bridgestone Potenza S001 Tyres, New Ryco Fuel and Air Filter, New Platinum Spark Plugs (all 6), and Nulon 10W40 Full Synthetic Engine Oil.

I am so impressed with this Magna and I have to say that it is a great daily car. I filled it up again tonight and it said on the display "690km to empty" and even my dad couldn't believe it haha

My VS Commodore (supercharged) gets 400kms to a tank and my Turbo Diesel Holden Colorado gets about 500kms to a tank.
